Israel Kayode KOLAWOLE is a Professor in the Department of Anaesthesia, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin with 26 years University teaching, research, and administrative experience.
He has at different times served as Head of Department, Senate member, Senate representative and Faculty representative in various University committees. His areas of research interest cover Regional anaesthesia, Obstetric anaesthesia/analgesia, and Pain and Palliative medicine.
He has to his credit over seventy publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books. He has successfully supervised over 30 Fellowship dissertations and 1 Masters thesis. He has equally won a number of research grants. Professor I.K. Kolawole is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
