Benjamin Olusomi Bolaji is a Professor in the Department of Anaesthesia, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin with 26 years University teaching, Research, Administrative and Community services.
He has served as Coordinator, Acting Head and Head of Department of Anaesthesia for a cumulative period of 16 years. His areas of research interest cover Airway Management, Intensive Care Medicine and Endocrine diseases and anaesthesia (goitre). He has over sixty publications in home-based, national and international journals. He won Senate Reseach Grant for studies on pre-eclampsia and eclampsia. Professor Bolaji is a member of many professional bodies and he is on Board of trustees of Society of Specialists for Airway Management, Nigeria chapter and Paediatric Anaesthetisa Society of Nigeria.
